Art Platform Japan provides information on Japanese modern and contemporary art and museum collections throughout Japan.
We conduct awareness surveys to understand public perceptions of art and museums and publish the results for further discussion and analysis.
Overviews and research outcomes in specialized fields, including collection management and conservation, the use of digital technologies, and initiatives addressing social issues.
We provide practical guidelines and handbooks for museum practice: writing and translation, conservation, and D&I and accessibility.
We provide training resources aimed at ensuring that everyone can use museums with confidence and have greater access to cultural experiences.
We introduce learning resources mainly designed for educational use, such as artcards and social story.
We share programs and related content that inspire people to visit and engage with museums, that is held in the National Museums of Art.
We provide art programs for corporations and organizations that use museum resources to broaden interest in art and museums among a wider range of people.
We are committed to building international networks and fostering opportunities for future joint projects and collaborative research.
We aim to enhance the global presence of contemporary Japanese art and artists through a range of support programs.
We promote scientific research and conservation–restoration, and sharing knowledge.
